Gregory T. Rickard

Gregory T. Rickard is Managing Director and co-founder of Equassure, Inc.

Prior to Equassure, Greg’s career focused on real estate finance and banking since 1986, during which time he held key positions in various lending groups at leading national institutions. Greg has successfully repositioned a loan production office, helped launch two new lending units, and was involved in over $3 billion of commercial real estate deals. His experience includes construction financing, bridge and term loans, joint venture financings, lines-of-credit, syndicated loans, sale-lease backs, leveraged buy-outs, interest rate hedging facilities, environmentally contaminated properties, loan workouts and bankruptcies, and asset dispositions. He has successfully resolved over $700 million of troubled debt.

Greg has been a university guest lecturer, a frequent industry speaker, guest columnist in real estate finance journals, served on Advisory Boards for real estate journals, served as a Board member for a residential development company, and as a Planning Commissioner.

He earned his Master of Business Administration degree (concentration in international finance; 1983) at Thunderbird School of Global Management and his Bachelor of Arts degree (political science major and statistics minor; 1980) at California State University Dominguez Hills.

Robert E. Stenson

Robert E. Stenson is Managing Director and co-founder of Equassure, Inc.

Robert has extensive experience in strategic planning, business plan implementation, risk mitigation and business restructuring from a 20-year professional career spanning multiple industries. Since 2000, Robert has provided real estate consulting services to lenders and investors while also serving Of Counsel to two Los Angeles law firms, representing numerous banks, investors and developers in real estate transactions. Robert has managed major receivership actions involving partially completed condominium and residential tract developments as well as rents and profits on commercial properties. Robert has extensive experience negotiating loan and lease restructurings as well as acquisition and disposition agreements. Robert has performed numerous due diligence assignments, including entitlement reviews, for lenders and investors as well as managing the entitlement process for developers and receivers.

Robert was in-house counsel to and a project manager for a major Los Angeles based real estate services company where he managed the development of approximately 1.5 million square feet of industrial space from acquisition through entitlements, construction and leasing.

Robert was brought in as part of a management restructuring to serve as General Counsel for a private telecommunications unit of GE Capital. During his tenure, Robert brought the company into regulatory compliance, managed the restructuring of various vendor contracts, settled substantial outstanding litigation and facilitated the ultimate sale of the company.

Robert earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 1991 from the UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles, CA and his Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, in 1986 from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a major in Accounting. Robert is a member of the State Bars of California and Massachusetts and admitted to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals as well as all of the U. S. District Courts in California.
